The Hijaz Railway can be used from Amman to Dhaba’ in the South, or to Damascus in the North. Plans to restablish this line or similar lines can benefit from the opportunity of a train tour. Eventually not only can this serve Jordan but can go across borders reaching Beirut, Jerusalem, Damascus, and Nablus. This could also be tied to a Hajj trip to Saudi Arabia. Eventually Syria, Israel and Palestine can be included when a peace process takes good hold and the railway line is operational.
